I recently read a rant about those on Quizilla and even though it was rather old if I remember correctly, it's really a shame that it's still topical.
Today (or yesterday, don't really know, but it doesn't really matter) I received one of those nice chain-things I so much dislike.
Now you could ask "How should that innocent person know you're about to kill somebody every time you read one of those ridiculous things?" (Remember: I have an almost current guest, namely my sister, in my room sitting next to me when I'm at my computer - do you really want to harm her?)
Okay, I have to admit, until now only my friends knew that (or should know - if not, shame on them!) but I hope now more people know.
Chain letters are unnecessary, even if they're kinda cute like the one you can still read in my comments. Do you know those that tell you "Send this or you'll die" or "Send this and your true love will call you tonight", "Send this, then press that button and something amazing will happen", "Send this or this site will close!" - they're never true. Most of the time I take the joke and count how many typing-mistakes I can find It's quite funny, but it isn't when people actually believe what those letters say. That's just sad.
Personally I never understood what they were all about...
Anyway, if you have to send them, don't send them to me anymore, I'm not going to repost them anyway. Thank you.
